As we can see, the higher the level of subdivision, the higher the
polygon count and denser the mesh will be. A high number of poly-
gons can cause performance issues since the computer must show
everything in real time, but in ZBrush you can always hide the part
of your mesh you’re not sculpting to improve the performance.
Hide/Unhide
Hiding polygons in ZBrush is pretty simple. Try the following short-
cuts to help optimize your ZBrush workflow.
To hide everything outside the rectangle marquee, hold Ctrl,
then press Shift (green selection).
