Continuity
Continuity can be defined as the smoothness of an object’s edge.
Computer-generated models should not contain any faceted poly-
gons, gaps, or hard edges in the final result (unless they are
deliberate). Some modeling formats, like Maya’s subdivision sur-
faces or NURBS, have implicit continuity, but balancing the weight
of the mesh must be carefully planned when using polygons.
