Edit an Existing Swatch?

To quickly edit an existing swatch color, go to the Swatches panel and double-click on the swatch icon; Control-click on the selected swatch icon and choose Swatch Options from the context menu; or double-click on the little color mode square to the far right of the swatch (in list view only; see note below). In the Swatch Options dialog, you can choose a different color mode, and you can move the sliders to dial in a new color. Click OK, and the changes to your swatch will be saved. There’s so much control over color in InDesign. (Note: There are two ways to view swatches in the Swatches panel: list view and thumbnail view. Some options are not available in thumbnail view. To select a list view option, open the panel menu and choose Large List or Small List.)
