Adjust a Value in the Character Panel?

When you need to quickly change a value in the Character panel, don’t try to insert your cursor into the tiny field, delete the current value, and then type your new value—instead, you can just click on the icon for the attribute you want to change, and the field will be highlighted. Now all you have to do is type in the new amount. This tip may seem like a small one, but if you’re frequently adjusting values in the Character panel, it starts to make a big difference. Want to go even quicker? Many times just having to type in those values takes too long and is too fiddly. Once the value is highlighted, speed things up by using the up/down arrow keys on your keyboard to quickly increase or decrease the amount. When you’ve got the value you need, press Return (PC: Enter).
