Find, Add, or Change a Keyboard Shortcut?

image

If you find yourself using keyboard shortcuts, there’s a quick way to check what shortcuts are assigned to what commands, and you can also change them or add new ones. To do this, go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts. A dialog will open where you can view and set all the shortcuts you desire. First, click on the Product Area popup menu (seen here top left) to select the type of commands for which you wish to view or apply shortcuts. In the Commands list below, you will see which commands are available for the selected product area. When you click on a command you will see the currently applied shortcut (if there is one) listed under Current Shortcuts. To edit or create a shortcut, select a command in the Commands list. Then click in the New Shortcut field at the bottom of the dialog, type the keystroke for your new shortcut, and click Assign. Click OK when you are finished.
