Find Cool Templates in Adobe Stock?

image

Sometimes time is against you. Maybe you’ve picked up a free job or you just need some inspiration. This is where a template will come in handy. The best place to find ready-to-use, professional templates is Adobe Stock. There are hundreds of them, and you can search for them by name. For example, you can type something like “music flyer” into the Adobe Stock search field (in the top-right corner of the InDesign interface), and you’ll be taken to the Adobe Stock webpage where you’ll be presented with a number of choices. (Note: If your InDesign search field says Adobe Help, just click on the little magnifying glass and select Adobe Stock from the pop-up menu.) Filter your results to only templates by using the pop-up menu to the left of the search field at the top of the Adobe Stock web page. Then filter them even further to just InDesign templates by clicking on the View filters button on the left side of the web page, and selecting InDesign in the App section. To see a preview of a template, hover over it with your cursor and click on the eye icon in the top-right corner of the image. You can purchase the license for a template and start using it straight away, or simply download and use one of the free ones. I prefer Adobe Stock templates because you can save them right into your CC Libraries folder, and they’ll appear in your New Document dialog once you’ve licensed them.
