Insert a Table Into a Text Frame?

Draw out a text frame on your page, and then go to Table > Insert Table. Enter the number of columns and rows you need, choose whether you want any header or footer rows, and click OK. The table will automatically insert itself into the text frame. In the example above I gave my text frame a magenta stroke to make it stand out, and the table has a default black 1 pt stroke, which can be changed after it’s been placed.
