Move Content Between Documents?

image

When you’re working on two documents that are very similar and share some of the same content, there may be times when you need to move content from one document to the other. Copying and pasting is one option, of course, or you could duplicate or move an entire page or multiple pages. Start by going to the Pages panel and selecting the page(s) that you want to move. Then open the panel menu in the top-right corner of the Pages panel and choose Move Pages (or go to Layout > Pages > Move Pages). In the Move Pages dialog, you can select which page(s) you want to move and where you want to move them. Since you already had pages selected in the Pages panel, those page numbers will appear in the Move Pages field. The default option is to move the page(s) to another place in the same document, but you can choose any document that’s currently open from the Move To pop-up menu. Once the document is selected, you can decide where in the new document you want the page(s) to appear. If you want the page(s) to be deleted from the source document after they are moved, put a check mark next to Delete Pages After Moving.
