Create a Grid of an Existing Frame or Shape?

If you have already drawn out your frame or shape and you want to create a grid with multiples of that same frame or shape, first make sure it’s selected, and then go to Edit > Step and Repeat. In the Step and Repeat dialog, put a check mark next to Create as a grid, as well as next to Preview so you can see what you are doing. Now simply enter the number of Rows and Columns you want in your grid. Use the Vertical Offset menu to increase or decrease the space between the rows, and the Horizontal Offset menu to adjust the space between the columns. Play with the settings and see what you get!
