Replace Content in a Frame?

image

If you’re replacing text, just copy your new text and paste it straight over the existing text. If it’s an image you want to replace, the quickest way to do so is really simple: just select the frame, go to File > Place, and choose a new image. You’ll notice that the Replace Selected Item checkbox at the bottom of the Place dialog is automatically selected. You can also drag and drop an image from a folder location into the selected frame. Use the Frame Fitting options to adjust the placement of your image (see pages 173 and 174). If you’re copying an image, you can also use Edit > Paste Into, but pasting into InDesign documents is not recommended; placing is always the preferred method.
