Sometimes you’ll want to quickly hide an image in a document, maybe so you can see something behind it. To do this, select the image and press Command-3 (PC: Ctrl-3) to hide the frame and image. Press Command-Option-3 (PC: Ctrl-Alt-3) to bring them both back. If you want to keep the frame live, but hide the image, it’s just one more step. Double-click on the image inside the frame and press Command-3 (PC: Ctrl-3), and the image vanishes, but the frame remains. Press Command-Option-3 (PC: Ctrl-Alt-3) to bring the image back.
