Share Adobe Fonts with a Packaged File?

That’s sort of a trick question because the answer is, you can’t. The packaging process will round up any fonts on your system that are used in the document, but if you used any Adobe Fonts, the recipient of the package will receive a notification and they will have to download or license the font(s) themselves. This notification is especially useful when you’re collaborating with a studio or print shop that is also on Creative Cloud because they can automatically download those fonts as part of their subscription. You can see which Adobe Fonts are used in the document by clicking on the Fonts tab on the left side of the Package dialog. In your list of included fonts, the Adobe Fonts will show as Status: Activated, Protected: Yes.
