Create and Save Custom Document Presets (Using the Legacy New Document Dialog)?

If you are creating a new document and have set your Preferences to Use Legacy “New Document” Dialog, then this would be a good time to create a new document preset. Go to File > Document Presets > Define, and you will be presented with the Document Presets dialog (above left), where you’ll see a list of any existing presets. Click New to open the New Document Preset dialog (above center). Set your preferences and click OK, and you will be taken back to the Document Presets dialog, where you will see your new preset listed. You can edit any preset by highlighting it in the Presets list and clicking Edit. Once you’ve made your changes, click OK. Now when you create a new document, just go to File > New Document, open the Document Preset pop-up menu at the top of the New Document dialog, and you’ll see your custom preset in the list (above right). Choose the one you want to use, and the associated settings will populate the dialog.
