Store My Assets?

As a rule, I always gather all my assets and put them in a folder on my desktop. Why? Because if my Internet goes down and I have everything saved online, InDesign isn’t going to like all of those broken links. Always create your folders and folder structure on your desktop as well as in your preferred cloud storage. When you’ve finished your project (or even as you’re working), you can then save items in your CC Libraries or cloud storage as well. This also covers you if your computer develops any issues. Because InDesign relies so heavily on linked items, this workflow makes it easier to keep a healthy document and save or package elsewhere.
