Switch Between Character and Paragraph Formatting Options?
When the Type Tool (T) is active, you can quickly switch between character options and paragraph options in the Control panel by pressing Command-Option-7 (PC: Ctrl-Alt-7). This toggles the two layouts. Once you become a fast-fingered InDesign ninja, you’ll be using all kinds of shortcuts, and this will be one you use without thinking. (Note: See page 276 for instructions on how to find a complete list of default and custom keyboard shortcuts for InDesign.)
