Fill Cells with Diagonal Lines?

image

Let’s say you have a cell with no data, but you don’t want to leave it blank. Well, you don’t have to. Instead, you can add a diagonal line or a cross through the cell. Select the cell(s) in which you want to add a line or cross, then Right-click and select Cell Options > Diagonal Lines (or go to Table > Cell Options > Diagonal Lines). In the Cell Options dialog, make sure the Diagonal Lines tab is selected, and then click on one of the icons at the top to select the style of line or cross you prefer. You can also adjust the line’s weight, color, type, and more. Once you’ve adjusted it to your liking, click OK.
