Search in CC Libraries?

image

InDesign makes it easy to search for an asset in your libraries or search for a resource on Adobe Stock (see the next tip for info about Adobe Stock). Click on the downward-pointing arrow at the far-right end of the Search field at the top of the CC Libraries panel, and select from Adobe Stock, Current Library, or All Libraries. Now you can type whatever you’re looking for into the Search field and your results will be displayed below. In the example above, I searched for “red” and got a color swatch as well as some graphics that have red in them. Now, let’s say you search all libraries to find a particular asset, and you want to move that asset into your current library. Guess what? You can! Right-click on the file and select Copy to or Move to, and then select the library where you want that asset to appear. I told you libraries were brilliant! And if I didn’t, well, they are brilliant!
