Find the Swatches Panel?

The Swatches panel is where the colors for our document live. It’s easy enough to find: most panels are located under the Window menu, and this is no exception. Just go to Window > Color > Swatches to open the Swatches panel. Once it’s open, you can make it float on its own or dock it with any other panels that are already open. The Swatches panel will allow you to assign colors to the stroke and fill of containers (frames and shapes) and text. You can also adjust the tint for each color.
